The soft mouth water dummies come in two sizes: small and large, and two colours: orange and white. This clever design is made to teach a dog to be soft-mouthed. Due to its pliable plastic, it gives a soft and supple feel, much like a real bird. Unlike many plastic dummies, the dog doesn't need to bite down hard.
These dummies are also designed with a non-slip S grip technology. The dog's eye teeth will firmly lock into the curves of the dummy, which prevents the dummy from slipping in the dog's mouth. It will help to teach your dog a softer, gentler, but steady grip.
The soft mouth water dummy is equipped with a specially designed pressure valve. This means you can easily let air in or out of the dummie, giving you the ability to make the dummie harder, softer or even flatter. Tailored by you for your training needs. With extensive testing, you can be assured this clever valve system will not let in water.
I find the white dummies, especially in the larger size, are perfect for teaching novice or less confident dogs to mark. They're also great for an introduction to blinds and building confidence.
